CBD. Can it actually work?

CBD if prescribed and used properly is a phenomenal addition to a daily diet. This is not to say that everyone should add this to their daily diet. This is also not to say that it will work the same for everyone.  In scientific terms, the endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a biological system composed of endocannabinoids, which are endogenous lipid-based  neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors, and cannabinoid receptor proteins that are expressed throughout the central nervous system (including the brain) and peripheral nervous system. The endocannabinoid system may be involved in regulating physiological and cognitive processes, including fertility, pregnancy, during pre- and postnatal development, various activity of immune system, appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory, and in mediating the pharmacological effects of cannabis. The MOST POWERFUL Tonic

Want to know what the most powerful tonic was 2000 years ago? And are you curious to know why it’s still widely used in natural medicine?  Apple Cider Vinegar.  Hippocrates prescribed it to his patients 2000 years ago & natural medicine doctors include it in their regimes today!  ACV promotes the enzymes in you digestive system to act as probiotics and promote bile production to aid the body in processing food more effectively for better mineral/nutrient absorption by becoming an organic acid.  ACV is a superfood, or liquid rather. Benefits include lowering cholesterol, and blood sugars, including A1C. It can also aid in weight loss & help fight acid reflux. Taking 1-2 tablespoons a day can have positive effects on your digestion, skin, hair, nails, mental health and blood pressure. Add 2 tablespoons of ACV to 8oz of room temp water. If you need a little boost, add 1-2 drops of liquid stevia. Or if you want to truly detox your system and give it a little boos...

Be Nice

Chicken soup is good for the soul. But so is paying it forward. I don’t mean just buying someone’s coffee at the local coffee shop. I mean volunteering at the local soup kitchen.  Adopt a senior at the local nursing home.  Volunteer at a local hospital and visit the families, patients and even the staff on that unit.  Something as simple as holding a door open with a smile and saying have a great day, can make both you and that person indeed have a great day.  Life is a challenge for all of us on a daily basis. Throw some soul food at it every once in    a while ..... simply, because it makes you feel good.
